Week6

This week I had a lot of work at my job and felt a bit nervous that I  was not going to have enough time for myself, meaning - for drawing.
Yet, it appeared that Saturday is all mine! There is Sunday left and I will see- maybe I would be lucky enough to have time for my shading exercises.
So, here are the drawings I have done so far:

First, I tried to catch up with the Zendala Dare and did challenge # 111,

and challege # 112.

Then, for the Diva challenge I played with Munchins, but now, regret I put so much white shading around the shapes. It seemed to me that only white lines on the black tile would look poor and empty, but , although I like it I think that I exaggerated a bit.

For Shading Zentangle , I finally gathered courage, and sent this little Pokeroot tangle:

Weekly challenge inspired me to do the following zentangle. I did it very quickly, and I like it so much. I have always tried to achieve simplicity and effectiveness in my drawings, and I think I did it with this little one. :)

I have also drawn some sketches for future tangles and doodling  (my own creation), and hope that I would do some more work tomorrow.

Week 5

Weekly Zentangle
My this week work included several zentagles. The first one is variation of Quinees. In fact , a
challenge for Weekly Zentangle is Assunta, and I combined the two.

Assunta is a difficult tangle for me because I think it is difficult to combine it with other tangles - it already have flowers and so many lines I think I could manage it better if the challenge was monotangle in colour!!!
Since I was not satisfied with it fully, I made another tile with Assunta and Pixiose.

For this one I needed a frame, so I chose it!

Zentangle Challenges

This week was very productive for me - I drew and drew new tangles and try to fit into into 15min. which is as they say an optimum for zentangle drowing. No way, in my case. I am definitely much, much slower.
For the first time I did challenges (they help me a lot) for:
Made by Joey - monotangle Queeries

and for Powerful Petals - M tangles - in my case they areOctober=Meer+MerryWeather+Mooka+MoonRocks+Mummsy+Munchin.

This is the first time I did something using Celtic Challenges (Creative doodling with Judy West) template and I enjoyed very much doing this piece of doodling. I was  so "creative" and enthusiastic that I turned my copied tile upside down. Anyway, I got this. I love such templates, they inspire me. I found plenty of them there (copying allowed for personal use) and they are really fantastic!

Gneiss

This week I've been doing some isolated tangles just to make my line more controllable. I've also made several tangles, and must say I don't like them very much.  Hope my inspiration would be back soon.
For the Weekly Zentagle  I've drawn the Gneiss tangle. Actually two of them. And I'm not satisfied with any . I stuck to one idea - Gneiss in the centre of a tile, and couldn't move on. I know myself, even if I wait for couple of days, the initial picture in my mind, would sit and sit there.
So, in the first Gneiss Zentangle I used Grass Border, Antidots, Sugar Cane and Gneiss of course.
In the second one, I used Oke and some filler.

Swarm tangle

At first i didn't know what to do with thiis tangle. It looks nice, but  somehow it has never inspired me. I used it for the first time as a "variation added to Footlites.

Zendala Dare110

I wasn't so creative this week, but I am satisfied with a Zendala I've drawn. It is simple - I used just one tangle - Dutch Hourglass. The flower in the centre, is just a flower-like pattern, and I don't know whether it is on the official tangle list. I've tried several "decorative" variations for this Zendala on different sizes and  I didn't like it - tangles were lost in a mess of tangles! So, I decided to keep it simple.
I was tempted to check on what brilliant ideas had been already sent, but I resisted.  course. Otherwise, I might steal (unconsciously, of course) something I like... So, now when I post it, first thing to do is to go on the page and enjoy.
